Studio Policies and Expectations:

Child, teacher, and parent will do their utmost to foster a positive learning environment and cultivate a love for music and excellence in a nurturing way.  The policies stated below are in place to create a stable and organized environment for your child's music education over the long-term.

Attendance Policy:

-Regular attendance and practice is critical for steady progress and allows students to feel successful. Students are expected to enroll for both the academic year and the summer session.

-Families are responsible for payment of all lessons for the complete term whether or not the student is in attendance.

-Lessons missed by the student are not rescheduled. Please remember your teacher has reserved a specific time exclusively for your child each week.  In turn, other times have been secured exclusively for other students. Asking for make-ups leads to exhaustion for the teachers and organizational difficulties for the studio.  Lesson swaps are also not permitted for this reason.

-Late arrival or “no show” means you have forfeited that time. To benefit fully from your allotted time, please arrive early, unpack and be ready to begin.

NOTE: To be a member of the studio, all students must register for the full term, as per the studio calendar.

Please contact Deborah to report an absence at (815) 337-7370 or paviastringacademy@gmail.com.

-Teacher absence will result in a make-up class.  Tuition is non-refundable.

-A parent or adult guardian must attend ALL the students’ lessons and group classes.

How to Register and Make a Payment:

Email Deborah to request a registration form for MUSIC TOGETHER.  Prospective violin/viola students must first attend a meet and greet (free of charge).
